Garbanzo & Lima Bean Seed

Chickpeas are similar to many other legumes in preferring a cool season. Plant in spring after frost and when soil begins to warm, 1/2 to 1 inch deep spaced 3 inches apart in rows 12-24 inches apart. For dry use, harvest once the plants begin to yellow. Limas are a warm weather legume, preferring warmer soils and weather to do their best.
